Custom digital camera built around the Raspberry Pi Zero 1W, later upgrading to a 2W, using a 128 GB micro-sd and a Raspberry Pi High-Quality Camera module with a 16mm telephoto lens. The 3D-printed body is based on the 1972 Canon Canonet G-III QL17, with an added right-hand grip inspired by the Canon EOS series, primarily the 2000's EOS-1V. The camera will incoporate either a 0.96" OLED or a 1.44" LCD, an RGBW NeoPixel flash, rotary encoders, push-buttons, and a fan for active cooling.
Hybrid analog-digital gauge cluster designed to mount onto a Logitech G920 wheel base. Through an Arduino Uno R4 and ESP32-S3 it will support NeoPixel lighting and servos based on telemetry data to control indicators for speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. An analog odometer and small LCD for extra data is also planned. The housing is planned to primarily be 3D-printed with some wood or metal accents and carbon-fiber wrap.
Custom inverted pedals meant to utilize the pedals from the G920 and connect through the wheel. The main body will have a welded diamond-plate steel for the main foot-rest, while the main structure will be wood. The inverted design is planned to mimic the pedals in a real vehicle.
Two different models will be painted. Firstly, an orange Porsche GT3 RS will be repainted. In addition to changing the color to blue, the spoiler will be removed and some details will be changed or added with J-B Weld WaterWeld. The metal body has been sanded and primed, and an airbrush with enamel or laquer will be utilized for even metallic coating. The other model, a 911 Carrera 3.2 targa is a plastic body which does not need to be sanded but does need to be glued to be put together. It will mainly be painted metallic red.
Setting up a Raspberry Pi 5 as a headless server to host a lightweight Minecraft server instance. Goals include containerized deployment, automated backups to external storage, and remote monitoring.
